You can print these game instructions by pressing P.

The game found on this disk is an example of a free item given away by
companies (in this case Stanwood Associates) to promote their products.

You must have an EGA or a VGA monitor to play. If you do not have an
EGA or VGA monitor the game will not work.

If you install (or have installed) Compufreebies to your hard disk,
after reading these instructions, press the ESC key to exit and go to
your DOS prompt or file manager. You should see this: c:\freeb4
Simply type airlift to start. But please read this entire document
    before playing the game.

If you do not have a hard drive you must follow the instructions below.

On this shareware disk that you've purchased is a file called DISK1.EXE.

Make sure your NUM LOCK key on your keyboard is pressed.

To exit AIRLIFT at any time during the game, press Q.
You will automatically go back to Compufreebies main menu. If you
do not automatically get back to the Compufreebies main menu, at
your DOS prompt simply move to where Compufreebies was installed
    and type START.

If for some reason your cursor has dissapeared simply type as you
normally would. The letters will appear on screen.

Please look at CompuFreebies first before playing the game.

Many of you may be used to some great games out there. This is
definitely not the best but is OK. It was included mainly
to show that there are some fun surprises available on demo disks
    which companies give away free.

    Strategy :

The prime objective is to save prisoners who are missing in
action, M.I.A.'s. They are being held in the prisons in the
neutral zone between enemy territory and your homeland. It
may be rough with tanks, rockets and other threats trying to halt
you mission. You can break hostages out of prisons by either
firing a missile at it or bombing it. Then you can land and pick
up the men and bring them home. To get to the next level you
must save at least ten hostages. Be careful, as you complete
more missions the enemy catches on and may send other enemy crafts
          after you.

     Things to Remember :

           * You can only carry six(6) M.I.A.'s on board at any one time.
           * Two players are more fun than one.
           * Bombing near your own base can confuse you with the enemy,
possibly leading to your being shot down.
           * Rockets will destroy anything in their way.

     Movement keys :
                     \ | /
                      7 8 9
                   <- 4     6 ->         Make sure NUM-LOCK is on!
                      1 2 3
                     / | \

5 - Turns your helicopter to face opposite direction
Z - Drops bombs from chopper
<Space> - Fires missiles in direction helicopter is facing
